Advanced OpenMP (Performance and Correctness)

Abstract: In this part of the tutorial, we will cover several advanced topics of OpenMP:

Bio: Joachim is research staff at the HPC group of RWTH Aachen University, Germany. His research focus is the correctness of parallel HPC applications. Since several years, he is one of the main developers of the runtime correctness checking tools MUST for MPI and Archer for OpenMP. As co-chair of the OpenMP tools subcommittee he was overseeing the integration of the OpenMP tools interfaces OMPT and OMPD into the OpenMP 5.0 specification, which accounts for more than 150 additional pages to the document. Both the work on the correctness checking tools and the work on the OpenMP tools interfaces contribute to a detailed and comprehensive understanding in the concepts of OpenMP programming.
